Now I’ve finished binge-watching The Fall (as of 5 minutes ago) I felt the need to abruptly fill my time with something semi-productive. So other than a twisted and highly addictive Netflix series, here are some things I’ve been loving as of late.

Over the past year my hair’s gone from nearly bleach blonde to sandy blonde, to light brown, to auburn, to attempted pastel pink, to rich brown and back to blonde. Wow, a lot. Protecting the integrity of my hair through each (and sometimes sudden) change was always stressed to me. I found MECA hair salon by complete chance when looking for a last minute colour somewhere close to home. Its owner, Carrie, is an absolute gem and firecracker of a soul – highly recommend. Back to Olaplex. It’s been mixed in with each of my colours and also given to me as an at home treatment. Used by the likes of Kim Kardashian, it’s the absolute holy grail of hair products. Even if you’re not an avid dyer like myself, I’d definitely suggest this one for repairing and strengthening hair.

Eau Thermale Avène

I’ve only recently been introduced to this line of skincare and I’m already hooked. I only wear makeup on occasion but won’t go a day without completing some form of skincare routine, even after a night out #PROUD. Face sprays are one of my faves and Avène’s Thermal Spring Water spray is no exception. This, paired with their face serum and tinted cream make for a dreamy wee hydration combo. It’s also French and there’s nothing more luxurious than that.

MECCA Cosmetica

Everything about MECCA’s brand is ultimately glam and if I can inject even an ounce of that into my life then I’m all about it. I was gifted the Lit From Within Powder for my birthday last year and we’ve been BFF ever since. Easily the most luminous highlighter I’ve used and just a touch applied to the cupid’s bow, cheekbones and brow ridge elevates the simplest of beauty looks #YASSSSSS.

Oui – Juicy Couture

Whenever I hear Juicy I instantly reminisce watermelon velour tracksuits I sadly never came to possess, but this is definitely the next best thing. The bottle is obviously gorg and commands the top spot on my dresser and the scent is just as good. Watermelon (nostalgic much?), acai tea, honeysuckle, and jasmine = the fruity fresh musky goodness I’m all about.

Holding every jewel you’ve ever dreamed of in designs literally impossible to resist… I found this site from a friend of a friend and instantly fell in love. I made two immediate purchases and left the rest to the wishlist. Epic if you’re like me and in the stages of mixing gold and silver but don’t want to forfeit every penny along the way.

Estée Lauder Resilience Lift Night

A little more on the pricey side but 100% worth it if you’re looking for a new go-to night cream. It smells seriously divine, like little crushed petals in some forbidden perfume – I can’t describe it, it’s unreal. My skin just drinks it up and I wake to a silky finish, mmmmm.

That’s all for now and I’m desperately in need of a new Netflix series so would love your suggestions, stat.
